In a cool interview with Candice Accola, The Vampire Diaries producer Kevin Williamson said that Damon and Elena’s relationship will be explosive on season three of the hit show.

Kevin spoke about his favorite character to write, Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and how Katherine’s (Nina Dobrev) storyline evolved from just a small appearance to being a regular on the show, thanks to Nina’s acting. But, more interestingly, Kevin revealed some hints for season three that involve Elena and Damon.

“We’re gonna watch and sort of see how their friendship, or whatever they’re meant to be, progresses and where it goes. I think it’s going to be a very interesting storyline, it’s going to be explosive.” Kevin teased.

So, to all Delena fans out there, in Stefan’s absence, it looks like Elena and Damon are going to become closer and progress in their relationship.

Hell yeah! Can’t believe we’ll need to wait until September to see what happens. Did you like the episode? I surely did!
